Guest reviews of our hotels

We stayed from July 16 to 20 in room 244. Overall, the hotel is good (for the price): decent rooms, excellent shared kitchen, but the staff completely ruins the experience—they simply don't care about anything or anyone. 1. At check-in, we watched for about fifteen minutes as the administrator slowly entered our data into the system. 2. In the room, we found only tiny towels. The same young man said towels would be delivered in the evening (they weren't). After a confrontation, they gave us towels, muttering, 'What did you expect for this price?' 3. On July 19, 2024, I barely opened the lock, after which it jammed in the closed position. I went to the administrator—a young woman. 'I don't even know how to help you.' Using a multi-tool, I fixed the lock myself, but surprisingly, no one checked on us or the lock during the rest of our stay. I can't bring myself to give bad ratings because it's clear the people who built the hotel tried their best, but unfortunately, poor management ruins everything. There's simply a lack of human kindness.

I was looking for a budget hotel since my main needs were just a place to sleep and shower. I chose the 'Piligrim' hotel—though it's hard to call it a hotel, more like a hostel with private rooms and shared facilities. I read the reviews, mostly negative, but found no other options in Murmansk for 1300. I came here. The rooms are clean, the bedding and towels are clean, the floor is worn but clean! The hotel entrance from the yard is inconvenient and has no sign. As for the bathroom—one shared bathroom for several rooms. You can only use it without a queue at 6 AM when everyone's still asleep. I'd say cleanliness depends less on cleaning and more on guests' behavior. I suppose it's hard to keep a three-story hotel clean when it's fully occupied. Conclusion: the hotel is clean—at least the bedding and towels. The bed is comfortable, there's a TV and Wi-Fi, and a shared kitchen with a fridge, stove, dishes, and microwave. Personally, I find all the downsides insignificant. So I think the negative reviews are unfair. Hotel prices in Murmansk start at 4500, while here it's 1300 for a private room. So the price-quality ratio is fair. The location is almost in the city center, very convenient.

Cozy, clean, peaceful, and, most importantly, conveniently located! Polite staff. The kitchen is a bit small, but the breakfasts are delicious.

Excellent place for tourists! Affordable and quiet. The room has a toilet and shower, all personal hygiene items provided. There's a kitchen with a fridge. Shops nearby. I recommend!

Stayed for two nights, polite staff, room was clean. Everything was great, and most importantly, the price was reasonable.

Quite austere... but has everything necessary for someone staying a couple of nights and wanting to save money. I rented a private room with a bathroom, got a basement room, the bathroom was cold, high humidity, no towel dryer. But for this price, it's quite acceptable
